Church Fathers Schaff
Does this 2nd century quotation sound similar to the the Pentecostal Toronto Vineyard Church experience?
"The church of Phrygia was chastised [by the universal church] because of pseudo-prophecy. While “reviling the church international” and considering themselves “happy as they rejoiced and exulted”, they “spoke in a frenzy and unseasonably, and in a strange manner…” (Schaff, Ante Nicene Fathers, Volume VII, “Asterius Urbanus”, p 336).

That Toronto Pentecostal Church is a total blasphemous thing. They have evoked the curse of God upon their hairy heads. Most of them believe in the incorrect gospel and still have sin, and claim they have the Holy Spirit???? If no man with sin can stand before God and live, then why are these sinners challenging God? And, the Holy Spirit is Holy and He will never enter such a heart ever!!! The only spirit that makes people like this - to blabber out some gibberish tongues, fall on the ground, roll around laughing like some mental patient, and foam at the mouth is an evil spirit. This is biblical fact!!! God cannot lie or ever change His mind (Numbers 23).
The early church had the same gospel Jesus gave to mankind, and all the disciples. This gospel is called the water and the Spirit. This gospel preached today is no gospel at all.
John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.”
