Where can I find information on SUS202 stainless steel?
I am designing a kitchen appliance, which mainly consist of a Stainless steel pressing. SUS304 originally specified for its resistance to corrosion and that will be no problem in obtaining quality certification food. When I got back my other Chinese suppliers were quite steep, due mainly to the cost of stainless steel. One of my suppliers suggested using SUS202 because it is cheaper. I searched the usual places, matweb, etc. but can find very little information on the corrosion performance or if this material will pass European food quality standards. Any piece of information or advice will be appreciated, thanks.
