how do i file share with my friends computer?
he has an alienware area-51 32-bit vista and i have gateway 64-bit vista. I can see the mac thats in the house but not his. As for him he cant see mine or the mac so what o i have 2 do and what does he have 2 do. He wants to share a file with me
When I transfer files with another computer I normally use an instant messaging program such as iChat, aim, or msn. Any good instant messaging program will allow direct transfer of files. If you don't want to go that route you could use email. I believe there is also a way to connect your computer through some settings, but it would be more difficult then the other options.
