Why makes people think their pets are like kids?
It's insulting to those of us that have kids (and pets). Like somehow, because they don't have kids, their pets are elevated to person status. Please knock it off!! Kids are raised (to become adults and hopefully make a contribution to society), dogs are trained (to obey). I'm not trying to be mean but come on lets keep things in perspective.

- secondly, it bothers me because it's instulting. Their dogs are not greater than mine but their dogs are certainly less than my kids, period. I'm using lesser or greater as in, any possible way you can think of.

I'm not trying to limit anyone's love for a pet, repeat, FOR A PET. Never said dogs don't contribute to society, that is a red herring (not relivant).
