Languages Aesops Fables
anyone help me with writing and fables?
for my language arts class i have to take a fable from "Aesops Fables" and rewrite it using a modern setting....i can change the roles of the characters incorporate modern technology and events .....
help would be very appreciated
roger can you also give me the name of the fable that was?
A computer developer with a crafty, foxy mind, was trying to trying to develop a surfboard that would make him the envy of his set and secure him the admiration of all the beach bunnies in the Santa Cruz area. Rennie Russet was five feet four, weighed 200 pounds, and had more pustules on his face that there are craters on the moon.
He set the parameters on computer and aerodynamically developed a surfboard that weighed just the right amount, was so delicately balanced that it could perform excitingly even in moderate waves, and had the sleek appeal of designer jeans with the brilliance of polished chrome. All the surfer dudes from Santa Rosa to San Diego immediately bought his board, and Rennie Russet was a fabulously wealthy young man. When not sitting in his basement room playing with mathematical formulae, he would drive his Woodie to the beach and casually let drop that the Triple Swath Board was in fact his own invention.
"Great," said a young man, 6' 4", blonde, skinny as a rail, with chiseled features and a young, curvaceous brunette in a grape colored bikini, with a dazzling smile and beautifully regular features hanging on his arm and looking up at him with adoration. The two of them headed out to the waves for some vigorous activity, leaving Rennie leaning on his vehicle.
"Oh well," he said to himself, "she probably has herpes anyway."
