Little Monster School
Should I be feeling bad about this?
First things first: I'm 13, and a bit dorky. Haha, well, all the other kids are like crossing this busy high way to get to Wendy's/going to the park to play tennis while I sit at home on my bottom and stare "@ teh glow-ey screen!111"
I told my mother I would go to a little Monster Mash type thing she works at but a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to this other recreational thing and heck, yeah I want to go! but i had forgotten about the Monster Mash and I now I feel bad because I really wanted to go the place with my friends but now I won't be going to that because I'm going to the thing with my mom. she works at an elementary school. ew, little brats. (haha, kidding. but still. i... gah.)
should i be feeling bad about this, telling my mom I'll go but then be really disappointed when i HAVE to go instead of going with my friends?
ah, woe is me. today was a rather bad day too.
If you made plans with your mom first then the right thing to do is follow through. You can't make plans with others on the condition that you'll cancel if you get a better offer. It would hurt your feelings if your mom did that to you. And she's your mom so of course she'll tell you to go with your friends even if she really wants you to go with her.
