What should I do with my Computer?
I have an old computer. It works fine for me but I really want to get into video editing. I'm only 14 and I am low on money so does anyone have any ideas? I have been told that there is not much I can do with this computer but I am not sure if that is true. Here is what I have:
HP Pavilion 531w
Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2
Powered by nLite
Intel Celeron CPU 1300MHZ
1.29 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
37.2 GB hard drive, 28.6 GB free.
HP CD writer

I would suggest you learn as much as you can about updating computers you can learn. Trust me, in the area you have shown interest, you will need all the latest bells and whistles to be successful. Unless you plan on trading up every year or two, you need to learn to upgrade your equipment. You learn that, and you will be on your way to computer nirvana. Understanding the benifits, vs. the disadvantages of newer computers, will keep you from getting something you don't need.
