How do I recover purchasesd iTunes songs/videos?

I recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop and it wiped out all of my documents, music, etc. Is there any way I can recover the songs and movies I purchased on iTunes? thanks

I recently could not find a song that I downloaded because my iTunes froze during the download and I had to force exit iTunes. I emailed the people at iTunes and they were very understanding. The person who emailed me back put the song back into my account so that I could re-download it. Try emailing iTunes and see what they say. Another way to do it is to go to "My Computer" and click "C Drive" then type "iTunes" into the search bar at the top of the screen. Next, find the folder labeled "iTunes" (it should be located in your "Music" folder) from the search results and click on it. All you music should be there unless it was all lost in the upgrade or you had to re-download iTunes onto your computer.
