learning spanish - which to choose - latin america or spain ?
hi im planning on learning spanish threw rosetta stone, they have two versions one for spain and one for latin america. which is better , which one should i go for?

I'm not familiar with that software, but I do know that the core language is going to be the same whether you choose Latin American Spanish (which itself differs to an extent depending on region) or Spanish Spanish. One major difference I can think of is the use of vosotros (the formal third person plural) in Spain; it is generally not used in Latin American Spanish (they use Ustedes for both the formal and informal third person plural). To answer your question, then, depends mostly on which you want to learn. If you live in Europe, then Spain's would make more sense, unless you are learning specifically to travel in Latin America; the opposite is true if you live in the U.S. or Canada.
Regardless of which you choose to go with, though, you will be able to communicate with all Spanish speakers, whether they are from Spain or Latin America.
