Rosetta Stone Arabic
Have anybody tried Rosetta Stone courses specially arabic?
I am interested in learning arabic. I have looked into a lot of courses and Rosetta Stone course got my attention, but would like to know, if anybody have tried it before, if it's worth the money for it for it is expensive and if you have tried Arabic language! All suggestions welcome
40 hours to fully gain fluence?! Not anywhere near it I'm afraid. It's more like 50 times that much. As far as Rosetta Stone, I don't think it really takes you that far. It can be a nice thing to do once in a while, but it's certainly very tedious and progress will be extremely slow.
Better to rely on other courses such as Teach Yourself Arabic, Plimsleur Arabic, Mastering Arabic, Assimil Arabic, Linguaphone Arabic. Also, the Rosetta series will not teach you how to read and write Arabic. You'll need to learn that somewhere else.
