Language Beginner Advanced
Where can I find a comprehensive course or textbook on the Belarusian language for an advanced beginner?
I am a native English speaker who speaks Russian reasonably well and I have had some exposure to the Belarusian language. I think I have found (and worked through) most of the free internet resources, but I would like to find a Belarusian equivalent to the first and second year courses taught in other languages at the University level.
To tell you the truth, I never came across such a textbook. I guess it is because Belarusian is not a very popular language to learn. However, there is such program as Language Exchange, which pairs you with the native speaker of the language you are learning so that you can practice your Belarusian by writing e-mails or practice verbal converstion thru voice-chat. I have never used the program myself, but here is a link if you are interested

also, Belarusian embassy in the UK offers courses on Belarusian language. It might do the same in your country.
