what is abdobe flex and what is the .asp,.aspx?
i am trying to learn some web development and I need to knoe how can I build a website like adobe.com facebook.com myspace.com youtube.com. I need to know what is required than just a training. what programing lauanges i need to learn and which softwhere i need i al ready have adobe cs3 web premium but do i need adobe flex to or not. is it requird and what are web application i need example please. thanks
What you need is a great deal of talent because major websites like those have been written by highly skilled people. You can't buy a package and hope to get anything like these sites.
You will probably need to know HTML, Javascript, CSS as a bare minimum. Then you need to know how to write server side applications. ASP is one way and PHP is another popular way. Most of this you can write using Notepad++, you don't need a special application to do it.
Flex is a very clever system and you could use it for advanced applications. However I think it will take you a long time to understand how to use it because it is complex.
