Visiting London for 5 days - should I use PAYG Oyster or travelcards?
I'm visiting London for 5 days and I'd really like to know what is the best option to travel? I'm staying with friends in Crystal Palace and I'd be travelling into Zone 1 everyday.
I'd be using national rail from Crystal Palace to Victoria and then onwards via bus or tube, but I've noticed Pay As You Go Oyster cards are now excepted on trains but is this cheaper than buying a Day Travel Card or would I actually be better off buying a 7 Day Travel Card?
if you are travelling for 5 days you might as well get an weekly travelcard on oyster you will find it works out cheaper and you can use it anytime, whereas if you use pay as you go you pay more if you travel during peak.
