how to edit scanned document on Microsoft Word?
i lost my cv on my computer as it had a virus?
but i had a print out copy, i used another computer what i had, which had a scanner, i scanned it, on to the computer and converted it to microsoft word,
i cannot edit any writing, when i click on it, it just shows the resize options.
is there anything i can do 100% FREE
can anyone help me find tutorials for this, mainly videos

You can't type over a raw scanned document in MS Word. Some people have suggested using text boxes, but I've never used them and can't vouch for their effectiveness.
You could run what’s called an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program (one may have come with the scanner) on the scan and convert it to text that Word can handle, but OCR is an art, not a science. I can almost guarantee that you will have to fix:
1.Mis-converted fonts.
2.Mis-read characters (i for l, for instance, o, 0 or Q mixups)
3.Mangled layout.
The scanned document, as a Word file, may look nothing like the paper copy. Depending on the document’s layout, you might spend a lot of time getting it close to what the original looked like.
